Reporting to the Senior Director of Payer Relations, the Senior Account Manager will play a key role in delivering an industry-leading customer experience to our key health plan clients, while supporting business growth and enhancing network management efficiencies. The Senior Account Manager oversees strategic client relationships, representing the Voice of the Client as the liaison for all customer needs, working alongside the Company’s senior leaders to develop and implement winning strategies for success.

SALARY: $85,000/annually

The Senior Account Manager, Payer Relations’ responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Successfully develop and manage strategic relationships with health plan executives for a portfolio of 2-4 multi-million dollar accounts
  • Cultivate client relationships through a collaborative and consultative account management approach, serving as a subject matter expert in DMEPOS and Integra’s offerings
  • Work closely with Analytics to conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for savings initiatives and program strategies
  • Work closely with Operations leadership to identify and support business process optimization for continued operational excellence
  • Cross-functionally lead client-focused project initiatives (Data, Pricing, Customer Service, Claims, and IT)
  • Own the proactive management, performance, and retention of each of your accounts
  • Manage and oversee client business reviews with client leadership on a mutually agreed-upon operating cadence (quarterly, bi-annually, annually)
  • Hold regular client touchpoint meetings to discuss and resolve operational issues
  • Oversee and ensure flawless delivery of Service Level/Performance Guarantees
  • Manage a team of Account Specialists to ensure timely resolution of escalations
  • Prepare utilization and financial reports for both internal and external use
  • Serve as a thought leader by identifying and highlighting market trends that may impact client strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior level executives
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligations
  • Ability to operate with autonomy, but the sensibility to value and leverage the skills and knowledge of your team and internal partners
  • Serve as senior mentor providing insights and best practices to members of the Payer Relations team

What will you learn in the first 6 months?

In your first 6 months you will learn about the nuances of DMEPOS Benefit Management along with Integra’s systems and operational processes, establish relationships with your clients and Integra colleagues, and collaborate daily with stakeholders to best support the healthcare needs of health plan members.

What will you achieve in 12 months?

Within your first 12 months working at Integra, you will have become a trusted partner and liaison for your clients, advocating for their members’ needs while managing a multi-million-dollar account portfolio.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5+ years of account management experience in healthcare, preferably health plan or BPO experience
  • Experience with government sponsored managed care programs preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Demonstrated PowerPoint and presentation proficiency
  • Strong familiarity with Excel and data analysis
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM
  • Potential for occasional travel
